About us

Pangaea Healthcare Solutions (PHS) is a subsidiary of MMC-Worldwide, the umbrella organization of Medical Missions for Children, a not-for-profit [501(c)(3)] NJ Corporation. Our head offices are located on the campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Pangaea’s core competency and focused activity is to provide high-quality, timely Specialist Medical Consults to its global membership.

Why our name? The word “Pangaea” means “all lands”in ancient Greek, The Pangaea theory is that all present continents were once together, that is, One World.

 

Enhancements to our core services

Member Education - Members may be provided access to the Global Video Library of Medicine in order to become a “knowledgeable patient.” Content is in video form and features key opinion leaders from the medical community. Providers to this service include the National Institutes of Health, World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, Johns Hopkins Hospital, St. Jude Hospital & Research Center, Harvard Medical School, Yale Medical School, and many others. There are 155 tier-one medical content providers in total.

Electronic Medical Record -Pangaea is able to convert the member’s patient file into an electronic medical record for secure

Internet delivery.
