Sisters Perform for a Cause

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Young singing duet, Coco Dollon and Colette Dollon of the group, 'Princess Good Vibes', of Montclair, performed for the pediatric patients of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson at the hospital’s Giggles Children’s Theater.

The show entitled 'From Our Heart to Yours,' included the duet performing in princess costumes and is a medley of contemporary songs from popular kids’ movies, including Frozen, Cinderella, and more.

CG-100 Aids Giggles Theater at St. Joseph's Children’s Hospital

PATERSON, NJ - Medical Missions for Children (MMC) is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the medical needs of catastrophically-ill children in underserved communities in the U.S. and in over 110 countries throughout the world, since 1999. The Giggles Children's Theater was established by MMC in 2005 at its home base on the campus of St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, with the goal of easing the suffering and enriching the lives of disadvantaged pediatric patients with uplifting live programs. The Giggles' motto is "Laughter is the Best Medicine!"

MMC Volunteer Shares Her Unique Perspective About Giggles Theater

As you can see from the photo, Chrissie Cluney has been rubbing some pretty famous elbows. While she met country singer Reba McEntire in NYC in Aug., 2009, this Cliftonite connects with a variety of lesser known stars and has a great time at her job at MMC's Giggles Children's Theater. The program is designed to lift the spirits of sick patients at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson.

The Show Must Go On at Giggles Children’s Theater

Beyond the footlights are the IV drips and wheelchairs. But when the curtain rises twice a week at the Giggles Children's Theater, the spirits of sick children are lifted and the show goes on at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson.

Giggles Theater was originally created only to entertain the youngest patients at St. Joe's. Today, Marie Caliendo, Executive Director of Giggles since 2010, opens the performances to all Passaic County children and residents.
